To create my line design, first, I made a panel by drawing various thicknesses, lengths and types of lines but using only straight lines and the panel could only be in black and white. These lines could go in any direction. This is seen on the left most panel in my artwork.After making the first panel with straight lines, we moved onto another panel doing the same as the first panel although we could only use curved lines. This is shown on the panel on the right.
The final panel was made using cut out pieces of paper. In this panel, we were allowed to use color and use both straight and curved lines. This is shown in the middle panel.
In doing this project, I learnt how to create a feeling of unity, balance and to have an emphasis.
I felt quite relaxed during this project because it didn't take too much organization or effort. I increased my observation by having to tell if there is the elements of H.U.R.B.E.. I was satisfied with my final result and I think there is unity, balance and emphasis. I learned how to use lines to create a design that is intersting to look at.
